As we drove down on Friday 3rd Jan, from Auckland after 5pm we arrived at Arawa Part Hotel at 9pm we all were feeling exhausted but the two males at Reception were absolutely amazing. As we walked into Room 218 wow, we felt like we walked into Hollywood Boulevard just beautiful seeing the two beds and how spacious it was it was exactly what we were looking forward to. But on Sunday Jan 5th the Buffet breakfast wow the staff the services and food were amazing. My cousin who was looking forward to the Buffet Breakfast she pile her bowl up with muesli yoghurt and Plums but she later found out it was Beetroot ummmmmmmmmmmm sorry about that...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 the gentleman at the front counter that Sunday morning, he was so awesome greeting us with a massive smile well done to all the staff there even the house keeping staff Wow 10/10. Keep up the excellent standard we need you here in Auckland you could give some teachings up here.............Other than that you are all doing an excellent job...Keep smiling...

We really enjoyed the spaciousness of Arawa Park Hotel. The corridors and rooms are exceptionally large, offering plenty of space to relax. Being on the top floor with a high ceiling added to the feeling of openness. The balcony was a highlight, providing a lovely view of the horse racing field and even glimpses of Lake Rotorua. The hotel’s location is wonderfully quiet, as it's set away from the road. The bathroom was also spacious and impeccably clean. The room's air conditioning and heating made it cozy and warm, especially on colder nights. Overall, the generous space and peaceful environment made our stay very comfortable.

Well , we had an unfortunate incident on our first night Wed 3rd April, when the water was too hot to have a shower, I nearly got burnt. It was late but I called reception to see if they could help. A young lady called Angel came and helped us, she was so understanding and helpful, she checked other rooms and then transferred us to another room. She was our angel and a credit to your hotel. The bed was awesomely comfortable and we had breakfast and that was lovely as well. So thankyou Arawa Hotel for making our break away from the normal a pleasant one.

Affordable grandeur! There was also free parking in the hotel carpark nearby. The place looks a little 'rustic' in spots now, in the room particularly. It's obviously older now, not a modern hotel. However this allowed us to book at a price we can afford, which we appreciate, and enjoy the amenities like the huge spa bath with marble tiles, and to enjoy our own breakfast to have on our room's balcony overlooking a lovely park view. Would happily stay here again.

The price was very good for a hotel which had quality fittings. The beds were very nice and the room was quiet. We had a room looking over the golf course. It had plenty of parking and easy access to the room. The room was very large. One of the largest that I have had in a hotel. Much better than what we had in Wellington. It had a good shower and a large bath, which was a former spa bath, on the balcony area. Very nice for a winter afternoon.
